Dennis P. Powers was admitted to the Massachusetts Bar on June 20, 1983. He has a varied background including practicing as a Management Labor Lawyer, serving as a Special Assistant District Attorney in Hampden County,an extensive civil litigation practice including Personal Injury and Landlord-Tenant and representing individuals and businesses in residential and commercial real estate transactions.
He is a graduate of the American University in Washington, D.C. and received his Juris Doctor degree from Western New England School of Law where he served as Editor of the Law Review.
He has held a number of elective offices in the Town of West Springfield including Vice Chairman of the Charter Commission. He served as the President of the Hampden County Bar Association and is on the Panel of Arbitrators for the Hampden Superior Court.
